Richard Bruce Cheney, son of Richard Herbert Cheney & Marjorie Lauraine Dickey was born on January 30, 1941, in Lincoln Nebraska. When he was 13 years old Richard and his family moved across Nebraska, eventually moving to Casper in the state of Casper where his father was the Director of the U.S. Department of Agriculture local soil conservation district.
